Friern Electrical has worked on an array of impressive commercial and residential developments in some of London’s most enviable locations. Our work within these developments has been varied and consisted of, among other things, producing commercial lighting to complement the properties, installation and maintenance of electrical equipment and using our vast up-to-date knowledge to add discreet, luxurious touches.

From our vast experience in the industry, we have been able to consult with our clients on these projects and ensure they get the very best on offer. Take a look at some of our case studies below and see for yourself just how impressive they are.

Completion date – May 2016

We spent 10 months working on Stables Market in Camden, London, creating stunning lighting and state of the art electrics for buildings A&B. We designed the whole lighting layout for the 62 offices, working alongside Broadlands Construction to create a bespoke and contemporary working environment, fitting in well with Camden’s eclectic surroundings.

Our team planned and installed a Business Management System (BMS) which had integrated controls for the lighting and heating which can be operated via iPhones and iPads.

Friern Electrical Services were involved from the project start and created intricate plans for the electricals and lighting. We had 25 members of our team working alongside other contractors and the developers to ensure wiring was completed when it should be so that other parts of the job were not delayed.

Located just off Sloane Square and only a stone’s throw from Buckingham Palace, this three storey residential property is nothing short of exquisite. With meticulous attention to detail, we were able to create elegant lighting, state-of-the-art audio visual solutions, controls for the heating and lighting and underfloor heating to add that little bit more to the luxurious feel of the property.

Our involvement with the project began in the very early stages – when the two properties were in the planning stages of being gutted and joined together. We were initially given the drawings by the architect so that we could design the electrics and we spent time with the customer, giving them samples of what they could have and working closely with them to ensure everything was exactly as they desired.

We spent 12 months working on this exceptional property alongside Broadlands Construction and we think you will agree that the finished property truly is stunning.

Working with ME Construction, we were involved in this project which was the conversion of a property into two medical units and four residential flats. We were involved in upgrading the electrics of the medical units to ensure that they were up to date and safe, but our main part of the project was with the flats.

The flats were very high spec and our team dealt with the lighting designs, audio visual solutions and the installation of the electrical wiring.

The client knew exactly what they wanted from the outset. We dealt with all the building management systems – from the lighting systems and CCTV – and planned and fitted underfloor heating. We installed an intruder alarm system along with Wi-Fi and iPhone docking stations throughout the property.

This stunning £40 million project is located in one of London’s most exclusive shopping and residential areas and the finished palatial property fits in well within the area. Our team worked alongside Broadlands Construction to ensure that the finish was the height of luxury.

We installed the building management system, designed the lighting and installed CCTV and an intruder alarm system. We also planned and fitted state-of-the-art underfloor heating as well as ensuring Wi-Fi was available throughout the property.

Not only did this project require us to work alongside the time frames of the construction company, but we were importing lighting from Austria, which meant planning ahead and ensuring everything arrived on time so we did not delay the completion date.

With Broadlands Construction, we worked on converting the top two floors above Foyles Bookstore’s flagship store on Charing Cross Road for 12 months. We converted the two floors into an opulent penthouse apartment.

Our team planned an intricate lighting system to really complement the apartment and installed a state-of-the-art building management system with intelligent controls, making life much easier for the owner. We added to the luxurious feel of the apartment by installing underfloor heating, ensuring there would be no ‘cold spots’ for the owner.
